Phil Ivey has been labeled as the number one poker player on the globe by many of the top-ranked professionals. Phil was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to New Jersey before reaching the age of 1. His grandpa taught him one cent-ante Five-Card Stud poker. From then on on, he was hooked on poker and wished to discover whatever he could about poker. He would tell his grandparents that he wanted to be a professional poker player. He knows he makes mistakes in each session of poker and constantly aspires to improve.

Even though Phil has come first in some large tournaments, he favors winning cash games on a regular basis.
